What to Expect

Crossland Avenue is an "Old Time Country Church" in Downtown Clarksville.

When you visit our church, you will find:

  • A caring congregation that will gladly welcome you
  • Preaching/teaching that is centered on the Word of God
  • Ministries to meet the spiritual needs of every age

The pews are wooden and padded and there are some chairs. Our sanctuary is accessible by a covered ramp out front as well as by steps. Fellowship Hall (downstairs) is accessible by steps from the sanctuary or by a paved walkway around the outside of the church. There are handicapped parking spaces and there's always someone who can assist you to get into the building.

Ours is a traditional service where the Word of God is preached. The music is a mix of traditional hymns, praise & worship, and contemporary.

Dress is generally casual at our church with a few suits thrown in. You should wear whatever is comfortable for you. After all, it's not what's on the outside that matters but that we are gathered to worship the one true God.

We do not have hearing assistance devices, but the sound system that can be adjusted if more amplification is needed.

We do not currently offer nursery services. However, children of all ages are welcome in our Worship Service.

Whether you’re new to the area or looking for a church home, we hope your first visit at Crossland Avenue Baptist Church will be uplifting and encouraging! We exist to worship God while serving you and your family, and we look forward to meeting you personally. We hope you’ll feel right at home from the very first moment you step in the doors! We hope to have the opportunity to meet you soon.
